Glacier 3000 has another new and spectacular attraction. Amidst numerous media representatives and guests, the suspension bridge "Peak Walk by Tissot“ was formally opened on Friday. It’s the first and until now only suspension bridge in the world that connects two peaks with one another.
the "Peak Walk by Tissot“ was ceremoniously inaugurated by the extreme athlete and coach Mike Horn. What better person to test the bridge than Mike Horn, adventurer and one who has sailed around the world? „As an explorer, I go places not only to see new surroundings, but to live new experiences”, states Mike Horn. He was happy to personally inaugurate the new bridge and added, “All humans have an adventurous spirit. Eyes that travel see more. Nature inspires, it wakes our inner soul, it answers questions and has the power to enrich.”
Glacier 3000 offers an impressive and easy to reach peak adventure for everyone. „The 107-meter long bridge, which connects the View Point with Scex Rouge, is a unique addition to our destination“, says Bernhard Tschannen. „It is a touristic highlight that is also important for our position in the Asian and European market.“ Now guests can enjoy a peak tour that offers a unique view of the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc massif, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The bridge is now open to the public and should be open all year-round. Entrance to the bridge is free of charge for Glacier 3000 visitors.
