Huang Xiaoming is quite a superstar in his native China, where he shot to fame in popular TV dramas such as The Return of the Condor Heroes (2006) and Shanghai Bund (2007). He has also acted in a number of movies, including The Banquet, Sniper, The Message and, most recently, Ip Man 2, the sequel to the acclaimed martial arts classic. But the talent doesn't end there. Huang is actively involved in charity work and hit the headlines as ‘Panda Daddy' when he adopted twin panda cubs at the Giant Panda Breeding Centre in China's Sichuan Province after it was badly hit by the 2008 earthquake. He has also worked as an earthquake disaster volunteer.
